Message from club president:

I have secured a permanent club meeting place for the rifle club through December of 2012. We have the Florence Borgen 4H building at the fairgrounds on the first Wednesday of every month through Dec 2012. This building is the last one on the right across where the sheriff's posse trailer is set.  We will be holding our regular meetings there along with our new member orientations.

Orientations will be held every month, half hour before the regular meeting months at 6:30pm, and at 7:00pm on the off months when we do not have a regular meeting. Regular business meetings are to be held at 7:00pm in March, May, July, September, November, and January as per the bylaws. If there are any conflicts with the fairgrounds they will call me and we will post and send out a notice to the members.

Attention all NEW and RENEWING members effective 1 July 2011 you will be required to attended a mandatory Range Safety Orientation, before the range key will be issued to you.  This was voted on with the new by-laws at the club meeting in May. 

All members current before July 1^st 2011 will have 2 years to take this orientation.

Range Safety Orientation will be given at the convenience of the training officer, not the member.

Orientations are scheduled for the first Wednesday of the month. On the months with no club meeting it will be at 7pm and when there is a club meeting it will be at 6:30 pm.

The Whitefish Rifle & Pistol Club sponsors winter indoor smallbore (.22 rimfire) leagues in both pistol and rifle. Both are held at the North Valley Shooting Foundation indoor range at 4565 Whitefish Stage road.

Rifle shooting is held every Thursday night at 7:00pm, and Pistol is held every Wednesday night. Leagues go from December through March unless there is a holiday on that day. Rifle will be starting on December 1, at
7:00pm, and Pistol will start on November 30, 7:00pm.

If you are interested just show up and we will help you get started. There is a $3.00 per night, range fee which is charged to help pay for lights and heat in the range.
